Heads …or Tail?
Two sides of the same coin,
Forged the same,
Branded differently.
To each their own use,
Both as precious.
Two worlds perceived,
but only one they share.
Words that cannot reach,
Eyes that cannot see,
Only the heart that feels.
Two possibilities,
One random choice,
Heads or tails?
For one cannot exist,
while the other does.
Two lives intertwined,
One cannot escape.
From hands to hands,
None see them as they are,
For never time was allowed.
Two concepts,
Only one image grasped.
Right or Wrong?
No notion of any,
steps they take together.
Two sides of the same coins.
Forged the same,
Branded differently.
Two distinct entities,
One as a whole.

Well, well, well, it’s been a while since i last was here…. Too long, i’d say… Well, hon’, got to say, i love the poem, really struck a chord in my heart…Truly, congrats on conveying the complex feelings… Love ya, sis…

Very good. I like the second and third stanza.
The two sides of coins is widely used in many literature works, games and even in anime, and I have seen a lot, but this poem somehow have it’s own originality.
Kudos.

I agree with shirohana. You’ve taken an old theme/allegory/metaphor and made it fresh. The simplicity of language and the easy flow of words lead gently to the conclusion.
Very, very nice.
