(^.^) Yummy

Doesn’t that look tasty?! *Drooling* Well, let me tell you
It is! I just had a taste back there in the kitchen XD
Today, since there was no school, I made a request to Mom, which was *relief* not rejected and I got to use the kitchen. I really wanted to cook something because well, I felt like doing it. There are times, that even me, like to cook up something or bake a cake. And before you ask, No, I never poisoned any one. What I make actually taste good
And I’m proud of it. Maybe it’s Mom’s genes since she such a damned good cook.
Even though I like to cook, I rarely get to use that kitchen because some of the … *cough* *cough* minor, *cough* *cough* disasters that may happen when I’m there. I never really put fire to anything but here again, I inherited my mother’s gene and we are super NOT cautious at all, which usually result in use having burns… from times to times
Enough of this gibberish now
I’ll just let you drool over what I cook
My choice was Baked Chicken Honey. Really easy to make.
For 3-4 lbs. of chicken, (usually it’s the drumsticks, thigh and wings, but I guess you can use any… part of the chicken
)
1/2 cup soy sauce Some vinegar, though the original recipe said juice of 1 lime
1/4 cup honey
1 tablespoon sugar (brown or white, doesn’t really make a difference. Original recipe said brown)
3 tablespoons minced garlic. I used garlic & ginger paste.
Pepper
salt, optional
Marinate chicken pieces in the rest of the ingredients. You are supposed to be letting it in the marinade for at least 4 hours or overnight but mine stayed only some 1 hour. Don’t forget to taste the marinade, it’s… pure… bliss… Drain chicken from marinade and transfer to greased baking sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes, turning once, or just until cooked through and juices run clear. While chicken is baking, cook marinade in a small saucepan, until thickened. You are supposed to be dipping the chicken in the sauce after it’s done and broil for 2 minutes or until just golden but I somewhat changed it.

In the middle of the baking, I took out the chicken and put the marinade on it. Then, when I’m gonna eat it, I’ll put on the rest. Serve hot =P

I made some salad and mashed potato to accompany it, but I guess you can choose to eat it with anything.

I’ve tried this recipe once to be served with fried rice. It was pure bliss!

Firstly I think that you must stop the leeching habits of the MBB
Host you images on imageshack or other image hosting so that they don’t go offline.
I just had dinner & i’m hungry again while reading this lol

That looks awesome. How wonderful you cooked such a delightful meal and I am assuming without incident this time since you didn’t mention it. I just had supper luckily or I would be drooling all over the key board.

That looks amazing! You have no idea what crap I eat when I’m living by myself and no one’s here to supervise my eating habits. This, I will definitely try out! (I’ll let you know how it goes. XD)
