Blog Champions League
Okay. What’s the title all about? Must have been a football freak the one who came up with this title. I proudly can say it wasn’t me 
So, Blog Champions League. Just a small writing competition we are organising with the hope that some brave bloggers with show up and participate.
It’s quite simple. The rules, you have to write according to the title we are giving you and yeah, we don’t want you copying from the net. You’ll have 2 weeks to wrack your brains and come up with a post, hmmm… Is that enough? This ‘league’ will go on for 3 months and at the end of these, with, 6 posts in… erm… hands, we’ll tell you who the winner is.
So, how do we choose the winner? Well, we’ll be having everyone around here reading your posts, i.e. me, sayuka, boomparwez and viru5 and maybe some other guys as well and we’ll be giving your marks on 10 for each post. Oh man, it sounds like some essay already 
We wanted to have a poll and have you people vote for it, but we thought it would have been better to have an ‘panel’ of people not participating. Just to be on the safe side. Then, at the end, the one with the highest points wins.
1. Those wanting to participate please reply to this post stating that you want to participate to this competition.
2. All members participating will be given the logo above with “blog champions league”. Please put it on top of every post for this competition.
3. This is firstly a way to have fun and compete with your friends so enjoy to the utmost while improving your general knowledge. 
We’ll be glad to have you guys participate.

What a great idea. I am not committing to it at the moment, some thinking to be done first. Is it suppose to be a fiction piece or article/opinion type writing? The award is very nice, and it is great that it has to be earned. I also like that you have a panel of judges, becasue sometimes these things can become a popularity contest rather than one based on specifics in writing. Also, approximately how long are you expecting the post to be?

It all depends on what you choose to write about. It could be fiction, poetry, article, your own opinion, anything. You decide what you want to write about. And how long you want to

Sounds like a cool contest and award. However, I am not the literary genius that you may think I am
Ok…I’m not even close to being a literary anything…so I must pass up this wonderful opportunity to participate. I’ll try and convince Dawn to participate…she is pretty good at writing long posts

hmm thanks for those very encouraging words… but a contest without participants is neither cool nor interesting… it would be nice if everyone could at least give it a try or just pass on the word to others who might be interested
