( I would love to see that on the front page of a paper
:$ )

Since a few days now, Yashvin and Morina have been sending invites to all the Mauritian Blog Community and being bloggers, bbZuSh, Sayuka and myself were all interested to go to the meeting to finally meet all these virtual friends. I’m sure by now, we must all be online to blog the meeting.. but rather than being one of the many who are going to do so, I would like to count you our (bbZuSh, Sayuka and me) adventure before coming to meet our fellow friends today. •March 8, 2009 • 16 CommentsNo, I’m not talking about those tiny animals you see about everywhere, though I believe it should be easier to explain how earthworms eat the soil and excrete part of it to dig their holes and find their way underground. Well, for now, we aren’t really going “underground” but rather above ground, far in space where man still hopes to find his greatest discovery.
So back to our topic: wormholes. The word itself sounds creepy enough, making you think of those little digging creatures (again) who use these holes to travel. Our wormhole has the same use, technically, for it provides a “tunnel’ connecting two different points in space-time. Of course, if it were such a simple thing as tunnel, it wouldn’t be such a fascinating phenomenon for all physicists. These tunnels allow the bending of space-time in such a way that a trip through them would take far less time than it we were to go the normal way. Well, I guess I should be finding a wormhole to take me to Pluto rather than dying in a spaceship before actually reaching there… Why Pluto? I’ve always wanted to go to Pluto to see if there were any dogs there… Continue reading ‘Wormholes’
Me? A tutor?
•March 7, 2009 • 9 CommentsIt sounded a bit weird at first, but I’m kinda getting used to it, though I still do not believe I accepted tutoring my little cousin. Not that I was given a choice; my mom and aunt practically forced it onto me, making all the decisions without considering the concerned person here, i.e. me. The reason for my reluctance had more to do with my cousin than with the tutoring. It had always been mutual dislike between us; maybe it had to do with the age difference. An 8-years gap can be quite a lot for 2 kids living under the same roof, especially when both are only child to their parents. Anyway, it seems that the “dislike” has completely disappeared for now and for good, I’m hoping; these past years I had been so busy with school and other stuffs that I barely gave any attention to the persons living in my house. The excitement was not over…
•February 27, 2009 • 17 CommentsWell yeah, it wasn’t over….
“Nussai, phone for you.” That was my mom who practically had to yell for me to hear her. I had just gotten out of the shower and was quite late for the prayers
As always… I was wondering who could be calling be since the only person who actually calls me (to check if I’m still alive) had just talked to me.
” lo…”
“Nus, it’s shaz” -____- Why was she calling me now? Did something happen? *thinking*
“I’m ranked in English Lit, French, and Socio…”
“Ohhh! ^.^ Congra-”
“…I think you’re ranked in Computing.”
“Oh. Great.”
“I wished you’d have some reaction.”
“Euh ya. I’ll go do my prayers. Will get back to you after that.”
From pink to black
•February 26, 2009 • 5 Comments… From 2nd to 4th… What am I talking about? The new iPod I got from my parents, as a congratulations gift. (Ipod Nano 4th generation, I had the2nd gen one)Well, I had already planned to ask for a new one if I got good results, and ta-da, I got one. We just received it yesterday, which is actually too late; there was a small confusion, and they sent it to another branch. No need to say no one bothered to call us to let us know, but all’s well that ends well
After my mom… euh… talked to the guy, we finally managed to get it.
I’m feeling a bit sad for the old one, because it still plays the music, but quite some things have stopped working. My hold button has been… holding with powerglue for some months now and the next button has been dead for… at least a year now. My screen only shows horizontal lines, the interface only shows up once in a month or so. But still, it was my little pinkie iPod I couldn’t live without. How it ended like that, I have no idea. One day it was okay, and the other, everything went wrong. I think electronic devices tend to break easily around me… My first mp3 player was gone in a week, my fan is crazy, my clock has… stopped working for some reason, my tv blanked out… I’ve said enough =) Continue reading ‘From pink to black’
